This view of the mountain is from base camp. They dug down quite deep into the snow to provide shelter. They also dug out a sitting area, kitchen, bathroom, and a cave to store their extra gear in. They took a satellite phone with them so that they could keep in contact with the park wardens as well as family back home. My first message from Trev on May 1 read, camp set all is wel send us message.
