Mt. Saskatchewan - 1

As I had mentioned long ago in my last post, Trev and I took separate holidays this May. Although I wouldn't exactly call Trev's trip a holiday. Trev and two friends Drew (middle) and Steve (right) planned an expedition to Mt. Saskatchewan which is a mountain in the Yukon that has never been summited. It has been attempted twice, once in 1967 and more recently in 2005 by Steve and another team. There goal was to be the first team to reach the top of this 11,483 ft mountain. Due to bad weather and avalanches the 3 guys had to turn around and make the call to come home without reaching their goal. I will try to explain there trip as accurately as I can.
