Mt. Saskatchewan is located in the southwest corner of the Yukon in the Kluane National Park. The guys started out in Haines Junction and from there flew 1 1/2 hours west by helicopter to be dropped off on the Prairie Glacier which lies at the base of Mt. Sask. I believe that all together their gear, including their body weight, was around 900 lbs. They had enough supplies to last them for a month although they were hoping to complete the trip in 2-2 1/2 weeks. The pilot gave them a tour of the mountain to show them what they were getting themselves into. This shot of Mt. Sask is from the helicopter. The altitude reading on Trev's watch is 11,260.
