This is definitely not the healthiest of snacks but it is time consuming which was my goal! It is so nice that Ava is now able to do most of these activities with us. 
I find it easier if they each have their own and don't have to share, limits the fighting I have to deal with!

Now they have to wait. They don't mind that they are sent to the basement to play knowing that another fun part is coming up. This gives me more time to get my work done.
I gave them cookie cutters and plastic spoon, fork and knife to play with. By the end it was a huge chopped up mess but nicely contained in the pan.
