I think that this is the third time I have done the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with my kids and this year Noah was able to understand what we were doing. He had fun picking out presents that would go on an airplane to another little boy! Ava liked throwing things into her box and I can't wait until next year when she too will understand a bit better what it is all about. Noah did really well and did not even ask for stuff for himself. I was quite impressed.
