A few weeks back I spent an evening dyeing rice into six different colors to make a rice bucket for my kids. The next morning I set it out for them along with trucks, diggers and different sized bowls and let them at it. Noah and Ava were quiet for two hours while they played with the rice. It was fabulous and so worth the extra cleaning I had to do to clean up any spilled rice. I think this will be a great winter activity when it is too cold to go outside.

You seriously do so many fun creative things for your kids. I can't wait till Grayson is old enough and I can steal some of these ideas.
