Pumpkins

Carving our pumpkins started out as a fun family activity, involved some blood and finally tears and bribery.

Ava thought it was "yucky" and refused to touch the inside of the pumpkin with her hands!

Noah was very serious about scooping out the insides.

Here Trev was quite intent on cutting out his and Noah's scary face pumpkin when he accidentally shoved the knife all the way through his thumb instead of the pumpkin. For a cut that looks like nothing there was a lot of blood to clean up off the wall, chair, floor and sink. We quickly distracted the kid so they never noticed anything. Luckily despite going all the way through he managed to miss the bone and tendons.
And then the tears began. This was the best picture I could get of the kids with their pumpkins!

Trying a different location didn't work.Maybe feeding the kitty a rock would help.
Nope
but bribery worked for Noah!!
