Emery Cadence

I really enjoyed being around for the arrival of my niece and being able to go to see her right away in the hospital. I had the privilege of being with Terilee, my mom, and my aunt while Terilee labored throughout the day and it was great to be able to hold little Emery while she was hours old.
Grayson was very excited to meet his new little sister!
The first thing he did when he saw her was to sing Jesus Loves You! So precious!
Terilee was very lucky to be able to have our Auntie Mary come and be her doula! Auntie Mary almost had to catch Emery as she was born so fast! The craziest part is that Terilee and I have almost identical delivery stories. Terilee needed to use the washroom and while she was in there Emery decided the time was now to be born. A nurse caught her while Terilee was standing over the toilet just like Ava was and we both had the same attending doctor who missed the delivery by a minute!
My kids were so excited to meet her and have been fighting ever since on whose turn it is to hold her!
