While I was away in California we had landscapers come in and do our yard. We decided that we would do this so that we were not picking away at it all summer long and this way we could enjoy it right away. Our front yard is almost non existent since we live on a pie shaped lot so it became a rock garden.
We also have a walk out lot so a lot of our backyard is uphill and we turned that into a rock garden as well so that Trev would not have to mow up and down a hill. We have just a small patch of grass as we back on to a huge green space with a park. He loves that he can take care of the whole yard in 20 mins!
I think it will be really nice in a couple of years when all the bushes have had a chance to grow bigger. We love our low maintenance yard.
